Setting off early morning after breakfast at the volunteer house or homestay you will drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. You will enjoy a full day game drive in the park famous for its elephant population and stop at Matete picnic site for lunch. Overnight camping will be at Jambo campsite and, the next morning, you will enjoy breakfast at the campsite before driving approximately 3 hours to reach the incredible Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy a half day game drive before driving back to your accommodation in Arusha in the late afternoon.

Important note: The price is quoted for 6 or more volunteers taking part on the tour. If there are fewer volunteers taking part on the safari, the cost will be higher. Any difference will need to be paid directly to the local team in-country before starting the tour. You will be notified at your program orientation if there is any extra amount to be paid. Your Program Manager can provide more information on the potential cost based on numbers of volunteers participating. Tipping is best practice in Tanzania and if you would like to tip your local guide, US$10-US$12 is the average tip per day, per person.
